Not just a mental reset, though. For me it's more like a means to challenge the way that I've been doing things in the past. When you are no longer given the option to do things as you always have, in addition to finding a new way to do it, it forces you to reexamine whether or not the way you did it in the beginning was the best way after all @David thanks for chiming in. It's like a mental reset for you and your processes. I've gotten that same sort of effect from moving also - rededicating yourself to new or more effective processes.
